Business Operations Associate – Sample and Supply Logistics

Job Description
Business Operations Associates at CS Analytical in Clifton, NJ are responsible for a wide range of functions that will support best business practices, within a cGMP environment, for the success of daily operations. Sample and Supply logistics is responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials and client samples are handled in a professional manner according to company procedures.
- Maintains a positive company image and positive relations between CSA, our clients, vendors and regulators.
- Adheres to processes, policies and procedures within our defined CRM / LIMS / Quality Systems, documenting all information by maintaining electronic records as necessary.
- Takes primary responsibility for the following tasks in accordance with company procedures:
- Answers side door and loading dock, accepting deliveries
- Performs sample intake and disposition: follows procedures for sample receipt, identification, intake, storage, retention & documentation of final disposition (discarding and/or returning to client (RTC) as necessary).
- Performs the ordering (upon request), receipt, labeling, intake, storage, disposal of chemicals, reagents and reference standards & supplies.
- Maintains chemical inventory in conjunction with Laboratory employees.
- Prepares outgoing shipping labels, paperwork and parcels for all aspects of the company operations, including returning samples, sending out desiccants, positive controls, samples for change parts, etc.
- Maintains / assists with general housekeeping of sample, inventory, and warehouse areas as necessary and performs other duties as assigned.
Organizational Relationship
Reports to the Business Operations Manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines associated with a cGMP, FDA-registered environment, past experience strongly preferred
- Posses excellent organizational and communication (written/ verbal) skills; ability to use critical thinking, multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- Maintain a positive attitude and commit to being consistent, determined and have a willingness to learn new things; have a good work ethic and desire to deliver exceptional support and service to others.
