Freelance photographer/videographer

We are seeking a freelance photographer and videographer to capture photos and videos using a phone, with a tripod optional. Photography assignments will be in the Columbus, Ohio area only, with most assignments being located at a client business on the Ohio State University's campus.

The ideal candidate has experience creating content for social media and promotional content for businesses. Assignments occur occasionally, including some weekend work during busy periods (usually just 2-3 hours for one-day, paid hourly assignments), and involve direct client communication as well as coordination through a project manager. You may be offered photography assignments on an ongoing basis. While consistent availability is appreciated, freelancers are not required to accept every assignment, and declining opportunities will not affect future consideration.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs and videos using a mobile device
• Create engaging social media content tailored to business needs
• Assist with promotional content production
• Occasional weekend assignments during peak times
• Coordinate with clients and project managers to meet project requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years experience in photography or videography
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in mobile photography
• Experience producing social media content
• Strong communication skills
