Crystal Springs is on the lookout for an upbeat and caring person to join our Assonet, MA organization and provide direct assistance to our students with disabilities. As a part-time Weekend Residential Counselor, you support clients in their day-to-day lives and foster a positive environment where they can thrive! Depending on experience and education, you earn $18.50 - $21.50/hour. We also offer a sign-on bonus and shift differentials; you earn an extra $3.00/hour for weekends. This position works either from 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM or 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM on weekends.
A mandatory 6 days of training is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm plus the following Monday.

ABOUT THIS PART-TIME JOB
This is an entry-level caregiving position where you help students with disabilities reach new heights and support them in their daily lives. You provide critical assistance in a wide range of areas, including housekeeping, cooking, making friends, and participating in community activities. As you work with students, you provide ample opportunities for them to make choices, assert some control, and reach new levels of independence.
Are you the part-time Weekend Residential Counselor we're looking for? Here are the requirements:
- 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to stay awake during overnight shifts and work holidays as needed
- Ability to support daily living activities and perform physical interventions when necessary
Caregiving experience would be preferred. A high school degree or equivalent would be a plus.
