Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
• Support the culinary team during busy service times by bussing tables and clearing plates to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing work surfaces, and waste disposal to ensure a hygienic workspace.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Aid in setting up catering or banquet events by organizing supplies and assisting with food prep as needed.
• Contribute positively to team efforts by communicating effectively and maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning, bussing tables, or food prep is advantageous.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
