Department: Camp Store/Office
Summary of Job: Crystal Rock Campground is a private family owned campground. We are searching for a friendly, organized and self-motivated person to compliment our seasonal staff.
The season for the campground runs from May through October - with the peak season being
June - August.
This position requires a person who is friendly and organized with a strong sense for customer service. Associate is often the first point of contact customers have with Crystal Rock Campground both by phone and in person which is why exceptional customer service is expected.
Responsibilities include making reservations for the campground, assisting customers that come into the store, answering phone calls from guests for reservations or answering basic questions, distributing maps and other information to guests and being familiar (or becoming familiar) with local points of interest. Must be extremely detail conscious and have a pleasant personality in order to maintain cheerful and courteous sales techniques and excellent customer service.
Qualifications: Willingness to follow procedure, complete tasks as requested in a timely manner, maintain proper attendance.
Physical Demands: Long periods of standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds
Duties and Responsibilities:
Taking Reservations
Answering Phones
Running the cash register for camp store
Knowledge of the region and be able to answer basic questions from our guests
Checking in campers and assisting them with general questions
Responsive to guests questions with a friendly and courteous manner
Stocking the camp store and general cleaning as needed
Occasional assistance with cleaning cabins and restrooms
Present a well groomed, professional appearance
Adhere to procedures and policies regarding collection, recording and balancing for submitting money from sales
Extend hospitality and courtesy to guests and other employees
Campground Reservation System experience a plus. NewBook experience would be a great assett.
Potential Schedule
20 Hours per week with potential for more as needed/desired
Minimum 2 Saturday shifts per month
Holiday weekends will have required hours
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
