Rentals Manager- Seasonal Full-Time
- Pay is hourly and depends on experience (starting at $18/hr). Nights, weeknights and weekend hours November - March
- Provide leadership and coordination for all skiing and snowboarding rentals
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Lead a team of 20-30 part-time employees (hire, train, schedule)
- Oversee all aspects of our rental equipment (fitting, maintenance, inventory)
- Work closely with the snow school and groups managers. Report directly to the General Manager
Requirements:
- Experience skiing/snowboarding is recommended, but not required
- Weekend and evening availability
- Relative management/supervisor experience
- Strong organization and technology skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment while offering exceptional customer service
Position Overview: We can’t teach the sport of skiing and snowboarding without the proper equipment. Our rental department is extremely important to our everyday operation, especially to those learning the sport. The rental manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rental building, scheduling, training and working alongside rental staff. This manager should enjoy working both inside and outside, working with their hands and be familiar with basic shop tools. The rental manager ensures guests are getting fitted with the proper equipment as well as providing excellent customer service. This position requires prior customer service experience and the individual should have some prior experience with skiing or snowboarding. The rental manager will report directly to the General Manager. It is of utmost importance that each guest feels cared for and comfortable in their rental equipment.
This manager will work very closely with the Snow School manager as these two departments are in the same building. Strong communication and group work skills are a must. The rental manager and department staff also take lead in the overall appearance of the lodge grounds (snow removal, trash, etc). We are in the business of creating lifelong skiers and snowboards, you can be a part of that customer's journey during their rental experience!
This is a full time, seasonal position. Work typically begins mid October and ends mid March. The manager is expected to be on site before, during and sometimes after operating hours. Nights and weekends are required. Possible full-time year-round work available with our growing summer business. Join our team for an exciting winter season where no two days are the same!
