Weed Puller (Seasonal)

Job Summary
The weed puller will assist the Grounds Manager with the daily upkeep of the grounds of Crystal Mountain. This entails pulling, digging, and removing weeds.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull, dig, and remove weeds around trees, bushes, and flower beds.
• Plant seeds, bulbs, flowers, and grass, and apply mulch as needed, using gardening tools.
• Water grass, shrubs, flowers, and trees using a hose.
• Condition and prepare soil for planting, using gardening tools.
• Remove leaves and other debris or litter from grounds, using rake or broom.
• Report any landscape damage to the Grounds Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical & Other Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
• Non-smoking candidates preferred.
