A part-time Event & Operations Assistant to support both the behind-the-scenes operations of the business and on-site event execution. I am looking for someone who can become a true right hand — dependable, proactive, organized, and ready to learn.
This is not just a helper role. I need someone who can support the day-to-day flow of the business while also showing up strong on event days. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
Pay:
Starting at $24 per hour, with room for growth based on performance, reliability, and ability to take initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Support floral and decor prep
- Pack, load, unload, and organize event materials
- Run business-related errands and pickups
- Help maintain inventory and supplies
- Keep studio/work areas organized
- Assist with administrative tasks and general business support
- Support on-site event execution and troubleshooting
- Help with proposal prep, follow-up tasks, and operational support
- Assist with behind-the-scenes content capture when needed
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have your own car
- Must be comfortable driving for pickups, deliveries, and event-related errands
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be organized and pay attention to detail
- Must be willing to learn and take direction
- Must be able to lift, carry, load, and unload event items
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, late nights, and long event days
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in events, weddings, floral design, or production
- Canva experience is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Schedule:
Part-time role with weekly support hours outside of events, plus additional hours for event prep, setup, breakdown, and event days as needed.
