Location: Santa Clara, CaliforniaCrystal Instruments designs and manufactures vibration control and data acquisition systems. We are looking for a hands-on Electronics Technician to support production, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and shipment of electronic hardware. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with circuit boards, instruments, and finished systems in a lab and production environment.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and solder electronic boards and hardware systemsDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronics at the board and system levelTest, inspect, and calibrate systems prior to shipment to ensure quality and performancePackage and prepare units for customer shipmentMaintain and update BOMs (Bills of Materials) and production recordsManage software license keys and configuration before shippingWork with vendors for parts, cables, and assembliesTrack inventory, parts usage, and production statusHelp improve production processes and documentationRequired SkillsStrong hands-on electronics experience, including solderingExperience with fine-pitch soldering and PCB reworkComfortable using oscilloscopes and understanding their limitationsAbility to disassemble and reassemble electronic systemsAbility to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbsFamiliarity with calibration, verification, or production test processesGood documentation habits using tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to multitaskTeam-oriented with good communication skillsEducation:Associate’s degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is acceptable but not required.Compensation & Benefits:$70k–$90k base salary (depending on experience)Full benefits: health, dental, PTO, and 401(k)
