General Summary:
Performs a variety of Powder duties including but not limited to operating machines and using these machines in a safe and effective manner while maintaining high quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform required equipment and operator-level maintenance within training and job scope.
- Follow production schedules and communicate properly with leads and supervisors regarding issues that may impact job completion.
- Comply with quality requirements, complete required documentation, accurately track job time, and verify counts.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions.
- Operate hand tools and measuring equipment, including drills, air tools, and tape measure.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area.
- Properly wears required Personal Protective Equipment.
Desired Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience operating machines in a similar position.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication/process prints, including blueprints and tolerance.
- Basic math and computer data entry skills, ability to read, count, and measure accurately.
- Proficient with measuring tools such as gauge tables, tape measures, and calipers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
