About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented team member to join our die shop. In this role, you’ll split your time between die detailing (60%) and die running support (40%), helping ensure our dies are prepped, maintained, and performing at their best. What You’ll Do
Perform die detailing tasks including inspection, polishing, light corrections, assembly, and documentation to ensure dies meet quality and tolerance standards.
Set up, break down, clean, and prepare dies for production runs while assisting with troubleshooting on the press.
Receive and inspect new dies, maintain accurate die history logs, and ensure dies are properly prepped for first‑run readiness.
Support Die Runners with caustic tank processing, rinsing, drying, sandblasting, and die movement; serve as a reliable backup when needed.
Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, barring squares, sanders, and flatness gauges.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all PPE and safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For
At least 3 months of die detailing experience or similar hands‑on mechanical experience.
Ability to read die prints, measure accurately, and perform basic data entry.
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Experience with small hand tools is a plus.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to caustic materials (PPE provided).
Working Environment
Manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, and caustic materials.
Required use of PPE including metatarsal boots, sleeves, and goggles.
Mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs.
