The Senior Manager of Operations for MICE is responsible for all operations of incentive groups and full ship charters on Crystal. The person will be responsible for travel for site inspections, programming meetings, and on-board charter and large group sailing. Connections and relationships are an integral part of this role, and the right candidate will have an established connection to the MICE Industry. This role will be customer and client facing and will involve covering multiple time zones with clients being global.

Competency
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.
Experience
7-10 years of experience in Meetings, Incentives, Corporate Event Operations. Prior Cruise Line operations is preferred.
Skills/Qualifications
Works in a typical office environment with quiet-to-moderate noise generated by computer printer, fax machine and light traffic. Travel will be required up to 10% domestic and 10% internationally.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May require lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment.
Expected Hours of Work
Exempt: The position is full-time and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.

Essential Job Duties
- Represent Crystal Cruises globally in an operational and post cruise role.
- Manage and drive relationships for key accounts and partnerships for repeat business opportunities.
- Responsible for achieving client satisfaction through development and execution of sold programs – through excellent customer service and protection of the brand integrity.
- Develop strong relationships with decision makers.
- Maintain and manage all client needs for on board group and charter operations to include but not limited to manifesting, dining, shore ex. financial accounting, payments, and post event surveys.
- Assist the sales team in all operational handling of sold groups and charters.
