The Essentials:
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 40 hours per week
Location: Outpatient Surgery Center, Akron, OH – 3975 Embassy Pkwy | On-Site
Specialties: Sterile Processing
What you’ll do:
· Provide clean and sterile supplies and equipment through decontamination, cleaning, packaging, sterilization and storage with inventory of all surgical instrumentation.
· Clean, sterilize and assemble equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques
· Support surgical patient care team by performing multifunctional activities including setting up instrument trays, maintaining proper documentation, and daily records
What We’re Looking For:
· Education: High School Diploma/GED or degree in Sterile Processing
· Experience: One to Two years of sterile processing experience preferred
· Certification: Central Processing / Sterilization Processing certification preferred
