What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist - PRN - Float Pool position at CRYSTAL CLINIC ORTHOPEDIC CENT?
The Essentials:
Schedule: Per Diem - Minimum of 24 hours per month
Location: Cuyahoga Falls, OH / Hudson, OH / Kent, OH

What you’ll do:
- Product high quality diagnostic images and operates the equipment associated with the Radiology Department.
- Take radiologic films of various portions of the body to assist in the detection of foreign bodies and the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
- Review Radiology requisition and physician order to ensure proper procedure is performed. Identifies patient and test for accuracy.
- Process Radiology imaging requests.
- Ensures that safety devices such as shielding, lead aprons, and gloves are utilized properly during procedures.
- Maintains proper operation of radiology equipment.
- Maintains radiology patient records.
- Performs proper handling of infectious waste and contaminated instruments.
What We’re Looking For:
· Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
· Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Radiology field or profession preferred.
· License/Certification: Registered technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Licensed in the State of Ohio. BLS required.
