Window Cleaning & Exterior Cleaning Technician

Pay: $16/hour guaranteed base performance pay. Technicians can earn approximately $21–$30/hour based on productivity, position and performance. Plus tips.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 35–45 Hours/Week | Paid Training

Crystal Clear Window Care is growing, and we're looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our technician team.

This is an active, hands-on job for someone who likes working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work and wants the opportunity to earn more as they become faster and more skilled.

You'll work primarily on a two-person crew serving residential customers throughout Southeast Michigan. No two days are exactly the same.

What You'll Do

Our technicians are trained to perform several residential cleaning and specialty services, including:

• Window cleaning
• Gutter cleaning
• Pressure washing
• Soft washing siding and roofs
• Chandelier cleaning
• Construction-cleanup window cleaning
• Holiday and Christmas light installation
• Permanent Smart LED lighting installation

You'll also:

• Safely use ladders up to 32 feet
• Operate professional window-cleaning, gutter-cleaning and pressure-washing equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Use our mobile app to manage jobs, document work, communicate with customers and collect payments
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and workspaces
• Work with your crew to efficiently complete the day's route
• Attend a weekly technician meeting

Most of our work is residential and may involve homes up to approximately three-and-a-half stories.

Compensation

We believe strong employees should have the opportunity to earn more when they perform at a higher level.

Compensation includes:

• $16/hour guaranteed base wage
• Performance-based production pay
• Opportunity to earn approximately $21–$30/hour depending on production, skill level and crew position

Schedule

This is primarily a full-time seasonal position during our busy season.

Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 35–45 hours per week.

Most days begin around 8:00 AM and last approximately 6–10 hours depending on the day's route.

Weekend work is generally not required, although optional weekend hours may occasionally be available.

Our primary season runs approximately April through December. Strong technicians may have opportunities to move into expanded or year-round positions as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

You do not need to be an experienced professional window cleaner, but you do need to be dependable, coachable and comfortable doing physical work.

Required:

• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving company vehicles
• Able to lift, carry and safely climb ladders up to 32 feet
• Comfortable working at heights
• Able to perform physical outdoor work throughout the day
• Comfortable working around household pets
• Detail-oriented
• Dependable and punctual
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Willing to learn multiple cleaning and exterior-service skills

Previous ladder, construction, landscaping, roofing, pressure washing, window cleaning, exterior cleaning or similar hands-on experience is a plus.
