We are now accepting applications from enthusiastic and motivated college students for a public relations internship. While this is a remote position (interns can work from home or school) applicants should be based in Hawaii as there will be the opportunity for in-person work sessions as well as the opportunity to attend in-person events – such as media events, tv tapings, photo shoots, client meetings as well as professional development opportunities.


No previous work experience is required however knowledge of public relations, copywriting, social media, photography and graphic design is preferred. The ideal candidate would be familiar with current events, be organized, have great attention to detail and be able to prioritize while managing multiple projects. This internship provides room to grow and ongoing, individualized feedback. Qualifications: 

  • Possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field
  • Have excellent written communication and research skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Receive college credit
  • Commit to the position for a minimum of 180 hours (a 12 week commitment for at least 15 hours a week).


Interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that will help develop valuable skills and make meaningful contributions to our clients' success. Some of the projects they may potentially work on:

  • Media Relations: Assist in crafting press releases, developing creative pitch angles, and helping to create and update media reports that track client coverage.
  • Content Creation: Have a passion for content creation? Interns will have the opportunity to work on creative projects such as designing graphics for social media, drafting captions, creating and editing videos and Reels for social media and other digital marketing, creating multimedia content, as well as developing other marketing materials that showcase our clients' stories and messaging.
  • Event Planning: Assist with the coordination of client and media events, product launches, and other special events. 
  • Research and Analysis: Dig deep into industry trends and audience insights to inform our PR strategies. Interns may assist with conducting research and providing valuable insights to our team.
  • In-Person Events: Interns will be invited to attend in-person events as their schedule allows and as opportunities become available including but not limited to media events for clients launching a new business or product, media tapings/interviews, client meetings, and more.
