Purpose: Primary responsibility will be operating an excavator for the solidification pit.
Essential Duties:
- Primary responsibility will be operating an excavator for the solidification pit.
- Communicate with the shredder operator who will be filling the pit with liquid and debris.
- This role mixes in absorbents to soak up the water, then load the solidified material into a roll off dumpster.
- Operates a skid steer and loader as needed to support other plant operations.
- Responsible for daily pre checks and greasing of equipment.
- Work together with plant staff to ensure safe and efficient solidification.
Education & Essential Qualifications:
- Experienced in heavy equipment operation and running an excavator
- Must be comfortable working in confined quarters
- Steel toe boots, Safety Glasses, Hard Hat, Respirator Requirements: All applicants must pass the company paid physical exam including substance abuse screening.
