JOB SUMMARY:
Crystal Casino is seeking a Cage Cashier for a Full Time position who will be responsible for conducting chip and cash transactions, credit card transactions, player bank account transactions, and performing Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell and redeems chips for Players, Dealers, and Floor Personnel as specified by company policy and procedure guidelines.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate assigned window impress amounts.
- Process Player Bank Account transactions.
- Process Credit Card transactions in accordance with company policy and procedure guidelines.
- Must be available to work any shift including weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
- Perform all other work-related duties assigned by the Cage Manager.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and intense environment in a friendly and courteous manner.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Work Permit from the City of Compton, which requires a background check by the LA County Sheriffs Department.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in handling high volume of cash.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Anti-Money Laundering guidelines.
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Math and Communication (Oral and Written) skills are required.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified individual must be able to regularly stand and talk or hear, lift and/or move up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs without restrictions.
- Requires ability to reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions.
