What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packager - Salary Grade B position at Crystal Cabinet Works, Inc.?
- Scans cabinets and/or miscellaneous products into a pack size machine for cardboard application.
- Measures cabinets 3 dimensions and adds 1” for packaging and communicates to Pack Size Operator.
- Wraps certain cabinets in bubble wrap, foam and/or plastic for abrasive protection.
- Places cardboard packaging on cabinets applying corner protectors, labels and tape.
- Determines pack size program, measures manually any unusually sized or shaped cabinets.
- Measures miscellaneous parts and pieces as well as communicates to Pack Size Operator.
- Packages miscellaneous parts and accessories with protective materials as well as prepares for shipping by labeling and placing on conveyor.
- Performs visual inspection on all cabinets, parts and accessories as well as returns those with problems to the appropriate production or inspection area.
- Works on moving conveyor line.
Education
Required- High School or better
Controller 110k to 150k salary
