What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Crystal Beer Parlor?
· Change dishwater in dish machine every hour & Check all 3 Chemicals (like soap)
· Sort/rinse/scrub dirty dishes, glassware, cups, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine; hand wash items that cannot go through dish machine (pots, pans and trays); rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
· Remove trash and garbage to dumpster, remove cardboard to cardboard dumpster. BREAKDOWN BOXES Combine trash into less bags (When Pots & Pans washer is not here)
· Set-up/break-down dishwashing area.
· Sweep/mop kitchen floors. (When Pots & Pans washer is not here)
· Assemble/disassemble dish machine (clean) & clean catch that food debris is in at bottom of machine
· Wash Silverware at Least every 20 minutes & change soapy water as needed
· Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solution
· General kitchen cleaning as directed.
· Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
· Notify Manager immediately when dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures (120-150 degrees Fahrenheit)
· Always wash hands before touching clean dishes.
· Check with supervisor before leaving.
· Comply with all Crystal Beer Parlor, OSHA and Health department rules, regulations and safety measures
· Complete all training and annual training in a timely and efficient manner
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
