Cyber Engineer/Software Developer Intern
We are seeking talented and motivated students pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. As a Cyber Engineer or Software Developer intern you will work on a variety of technologies, and gain hands-on experience in different skills including reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, software development, Kubernetes, mission automation, and DevSecOps. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with an engineering team to solve complex challenges using state-of-the-art innovations and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work on cutting-edge technologies in software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability analysis.
- Develop and enhance mission-critical software solutions with a focus on security and automation.
- Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and mission automation.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities in software and systems.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact national security.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to improve system performance and security.
- Research and experiment with new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance cybersecurity solutions.
Requirements
Requirements
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering), with a graduation date of 2027, 2028, or 2029
- Strong programming skills in at least one language
- Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and methodologies and/or software development
- US Citizenship required
- Available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall Semester
- 40 hours/week on-site at Cryptic Vector
