Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Courier to join our growing team in Palisades Park, New Jersey. In this hybrid role, you will handle both administrative duties and hands-on courier responsibilities. The primary responsibility of the medical courier driver will be transporting cryopreservation tanks used in IVF treatments, ensuring their safe and timely delivery to IVF labs. As an administrative assistant, you will assist with daily office operations, support data entry tasks, and provide general support to the clinical team.

Key responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

• Manage deliveries and pickups of cryopreservation tanks to IVF labs
• Maintain up-to-date records of deliveries and inventory logs
• Assist with preparing documentation for incoming inventory
• Support inventory auditing processes
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards, including HIPAA, when handling sensitive client and patient information
• Assist with general office tanks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling

Medical Courier Driver Duties:

• Safely and efficiently transport cryopreservation tanks to and from IVF labs
• Ensure all deliveries are made according to the pre-scheduled timelines and routes
• Confirm receipt of delivery by and obtain appropriate signatures
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning delivery vehicle, ensuring all safety checks are performed
• Ensure proper handling and transportation of cryopreservation tanks, including ensuring tanks are securely stored and transported
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues or delays to management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree with science background preferred, additional administrative or logistics certifications are considered
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 5-7 years of driving experience in a similar or related position 
• Previous experience in medical courier services, logistics, or administrative support is preferred
• Ability to interact professionally with healthcare professionals, IVF labs, and team members
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
