Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. In this role, you will assist harvesting cells for the production of biomolecules used as active ingredients in our proof of concept product.
Duties
- Concentrate cell cultures via centrifugation.
- Collect cells for downstream processing and biomolecule purification.
- Assist in biomolecule purification.
- Assist in research & development activities by performing experiments aligned with scientific research protocols.
- Ensure laboratory safety and regulatory compliance.
- Support laboratory maintenance tasks such as calibration of equipment, inventory management, and cleanliness to uphold high standards of laboratory hygiene.
Skills
- Strong understanding and knowledge of biology, laboratory procedures and microbiology practices.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques across disciplines including solution preparation and use of laboratory equipment, such as balances and centrifuges.
- Experience working in industrial or research laboratories with a focus on quality control and data accuracy.
