Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA (www.cruzinc.us) has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for a Office Manager. The job location is Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE), Virginia.
Scope: The position requires professional administrative support of the Technology Applications Program Office Headquarters and / or individual Program Management Offices. By providing meeting coordination, scheduling, reporting, and general administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the daily administrative functions of the office.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the calendar; resolves conflicts.
- Prepare and maintain personnel status reporting and submit reports as required.
- Participate in administrative meeting focused on synchronization of projects and initiatives.
- Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of the Government.
- Prepares standardized letters and documents from desk guides utilizing advanced MS Word capabilities.
- Follows established procedures and routines relative to office operations and procedures.
- Learns customer-specific software through tutoring and on the-job training.
- Prepares spreadsheets using MS Excel.
- Supports making travel arrangements through the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Highly experienced with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 8 years of experience working in an office environment.
- A Secret or Interim Secret security clearance is required.
