Sell-side M&A firm specializing in the Space and Defense markets. We are a boutique firm that offers both investment banking and contract CFO services.
Role Description
This analyst position will be responsible for all aspects of deal preparation and managing due diligence. Financial modeling/analysis, data room, confidential information preparation. The ideal candidate will also be able to support CFO's with integrated three statement financial models, annual budgeting and other FP&A. This is an independent contractor role with both cash and transaction success fee compensation. The ideal candidate will be an experienced independent contractor with an existing book of business as this role grows to full-time.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Financial Modeling and Finance principles.
- Highly developed Analytical Skills with a proven ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Experience in Due Diligence processes and experienced in sell-side investment banking practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and AI tools.
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
