What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Manager position at Crusherworks?
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Parts Manager to oversee all aspects of our parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, parts sales, customer service, supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely availability of parts for crushing, screening, shredding, and recycling equipment. This role plays a critical part in supporting our customers and service team while driving department profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory, purchasing, receiving, shipping, and customer support.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
- Develop and maintain healthy relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Process customer parts inquiries, quotes, orders, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinate with service technicians and sales staff to ensure parts availability for repairs and equipment deliveries.
- Analyze sales trends and forecast inventory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for both domestic and international customers.
- Manage warranty parts claims and returns.
- Track department performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support related to equipment parts.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

- Experience with crushing, screening, shredding, recycling, or construction equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment manufacturers and aftermarket parts sourcing.
- Warehouse and logistics management experience.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to interpret equipment parts manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
