Crusader Community Health is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Systems Engineer to support and enhance the technology infrastructure that powers our mission-driven healthcare organization. About the Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, installing, and supporting central computer systems and network infrastructure across our clinics. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure system reliability and security, and provide expert technical guidance to colleagues across the organization.
You'll play a key role in maintaining the stability and performance of our servers, networks, and software, helping ensure that our teams have the tools they need to deliver outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Design, configure, test, and maintain servers, operating systems, and system management tools
Implement systems automation to optimize performance and efficiency
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across network and server environments
Manage network hardware, storage systems (SAN), and related security measures
Monitor infrastructure and respond to alerts from SIEM and network management tools
Support employees by resolving escalated issues in partnership with Help Desk and Clinical Applications teams
Coordinate with vendors on software/hardware needs, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Ensure data integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery best practices
Develop, update, and maintain technical and training documentation
Mentor and train junior IT team members
Participate in on-call rotation (M–F 4:30–9 p.m., Sat 8 a.m.–12 p.m.)
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of IT and Cybersecurity Operations
What You Bring
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Microsoft Windows Hybrid Administrator Associate certification (or prior Microsoft Server certification) required
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in network administration, server operating systems, or network systems security
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022
Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, ADFS, Azure AD
Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, or 3rd-party hypervisors)
SAN environments (HP, Dell/EMC, Nutanix, etc.)
VoIP phone systems
Network administration, installation, and security
Disaster recovery and business continuity
MS Office Suite

Salary : $71,186 - $108,203
