Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly.
- Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized.
- Support food industry best practices by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or fast-food environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants, cafes, or retail grocery stores is advantageous.
