Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Personal Trainer role based at Crunch Fitness in New Port Richey, FL. The Personal Trainer will conduct one-on-one and small-group training sessions, create individualized workout programs, and guide members in using gym equipment safely and effectively. Daily tasks include assessing member fitness levels, setting realistic goals, tracking progress, and providing ongoing motivation and support. The role also involves offering basic guidance on healthy habits, promoting club services and training packages, and maintaining a clean, welcoming training environment. Personal Trainers collaborate with the club team to support member retention and ensure a positive overall experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and deliver safe, effective Personal Training and Fitness Instruction programs tailored to diverse fitness levels.
- Skills in Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support a variety of training formats and member goals.
- Knowledge of Nutrition fundamentals to provide general guidance that supports members’ fitness objectives.
- Current nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA) or willingness to obtain one within an agreed timeframe.
- CPR/AED certification or ability to become certified promptly after hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage members in a supportive, non-judgmental manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on member and club needs.
- Previous experience in a gym or fitness environment is preferred but not required; a genuine interest in health and wellness is essential.
