What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at CRUMBL?
Bakers (BKs) are good listeners and detail-oriented. Bakers are effective and efficient at reading, understanding and following Crumbl recipes and resources. Bakers assist in store operations by executing baking assignments such as mixing dough, balling dough, working the ovens, dressing cookies, boxing up cookies, and any other assignments as requested by store leadership. The best Bakers perform quality checks throughout all areas of the store to ensure cookie quality standards are upheld and the best customer experience is provided with every box of cookies.
As a Baker, you will greet customers (Welcome to Crumbl!), answer customer questions, keep the store clean, make sure desserts are in-stock, and perform other duties as needed. Bakers report directly to Shift Leads, Supervisors, the Assistant General Manager, and the General Manager.
Baker Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, take customer orders and payments, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer the store phone.
- Read, understand and follow Crumbl recipes, policies and standards.
- Adhere to the Crumbl Way.
- Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to make cookies.
- Mix dough, if over the age of 18.
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Decorate and display finished products.
- Keep records relating to deliveries, inventory and production levels.
- Clean and restock work stations, clean and sanitize equipment and prepare for the next shift and store for success.
- Effectively use resources such as Slack to communicate and follow guidelines put in effect by Store Leadership.
- Adhere to all company policies, state and federal procedures and guidelines.
- Hold an active food handlers permit, if deemed necessary by local governing agencies.

Salary : $13 - $14
