As an hourly tipped employee, the Expert will work closely with the bakery team and report to and Management. Experts are responsible for opening and/or closing the store without Management oversight.Baker Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Demonstrate flexibility in working around customer demand, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.- Embody the store's culture expectations while working in an inclusive, respectful, professional, exciting, and hard-working environment.- Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, accept orders and payments (including cash handling), and provide exceptional customer service.- Properly execute recipes and follow preparation instructions.- Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, etc.- Decorate and display cookies according to brand standards.- Pay attention to detail, especially during quality inspections of products.- Clean and restock workstations, ensuring all equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and meets food safety and brand standards.- Follow instructions on executing tasks to meet food safety, company, and brand standards.- Possess strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.- Manage time effectively and work efficiently according to business needs and Leadership direction.Expert Requirements and Essential FunctionsBe at least 18 years of agePossession of or ability to obtain a valid ServSafe Food Handler’s PermitSafely handle and work in close proximity to food allergens including milk, egg, nuts, wheat, soy, and sesameSafely use and be in contact with industrial cleaning chemicals and suppliesAbility to work in a hot, hectic, and loud environment for entire shifts - up to 8 hoursStand, walk, bend, crouch, and use hands (gross and fine manipulation) for entire shifts - up to 8 hoursFrequently lift, push, or pull heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds and move them up to 20 feet without assistanceFrequently climb up and down a stepladder while accessing, balancing, and/or carrying items (including overhead) weighing up to 25 pounds without assistanceHandle and operate industrial appliances including mixers, ovens, chillers, and freezersBasic math, computer, and reading comprehension skillsFluent in English for both verbal and written communicationsClarity of vision including but not limited to near visual activity (20 inches or less) and far visual activity (20 feet or more)The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in-person, over a telephone, and virtually through videos or recordingsSalary:- $17.00 - $18.00 per hourLocation Information: 1691 PA-228, Suite E, Cranberry Township, PA 16066
