Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Packaging & Fulfillment Associate to join our growing bakery team. This role is responsible for accurately packing cookie orders, preparing shipments, and ensuring every order meets our quality and presentation standards. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read and interpret packing slips to fulfill customer orders
- Pack cookies with extreme attention to detail and consistency
- Apply bag seals, labels, and packaging materials correctly for each order
- Build and prepare shipping boxes for outgoing orders
- Ensure all items are correctly counted, matched, and packed without error
- Operate and navigate internal order systems and fulfillment tools
- Troubleshoot basic printing and labeling issues as they arise
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient packing station
- Support team members and assist wherever needed during production rushes
- Proactively identify what needs to be done without waiting for direction
Requirements & Qualifications
- Extreme attention to detail (accuracy is critical)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical ability to learn and navigate order/packing systems
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic printer/labeling issues
- Ability to take feedback and quickly implement improvements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to help build boxes, pack orders, and support the team as needed
- Self-motivated and proactive—able to see what needs doing and take action
