Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated Full-time Sales Representative to drive our commercial roofing service sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, commercial roofing, and service/maintenance sales. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for commercial roofing services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate roofing needs and provide accurate quotes and proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, roofing technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage and track sales activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM software.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's services.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective sales materials and campaigns.
- Upsell additional services to existing clients, such as maintenance contracts and roof inspections.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the commercial roofing or construction industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing sales or related field.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
