General Liability Associate Attorney | Newark, NJ (Hybrid)
A full-service national law firm is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice in Newark, NJ.
What you'll do
Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations and trials. The practice defends businesses and individuals, insured or self-insured, in property and personal injury claims, with a focus on catastrophic injury, wrongful death and complex litigation.
Requirements
- 1–7 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong research and writing skills
- New Jersey Bar admission required
- New York Bar admission and New York Labor case experience a plus
Insurance defense experience is preferred, but talented litigators from any arena are welcome to apply.
Compensation and benefits: $125,000–$175,000 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) with employer match.
Regular full-time, hybrid.
