Title: Attorney - Healthcare Litigation - Tampa or St. Pete
Location: Tampa, FL
Compensation: $145K-$180K - DOE
About The Position
Our client, a well established law firm in Florida is seeking an attorney for our Tampa office with 3 years of experience in healthcare litigation. The ideal background is defending healthcare providers such as chiropractors and doctors accused of healthcare fraud, kickback violations, and patient brokering by major insurance companies or the federal government (including the Department of Justice).
This is an opportunity to join a fast growing practice at the ground floor, and requires the ability to manage all phases of litigation in federal court, including taking and defending depositions of both fact and expert witnesses, drafting high quality legal memorandums, pleadings, and motions in federal court, and analyzing complex healthcare litigation and regulatory issues. The candidate will also be expected to participate in, and manage, pre-suit investigations and settlement negotiations between healthcare providers and major insurance companies.
