The TAM will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they maximize the value of client’s managed security services while providing insights, recommendations, and guidance on SOC operations, security posture, and incident response.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client(s).
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client executives, CISOs, and security leaders.
- Proactively communicate SOC performance, threat trends, and risk posture through regular business reviews and ad-hoc strategy sessions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and align SOC capabilities accordingly.
- Leverage hands-on knowledge of SOC operations to translate technical findings into actionable business insights for clients.
- Act as a liaison between the SOC, engineering, and clients to ensure effective resolution of complex security incidents.
- Partner with Security Engineers, and Sales teams to ensure smooth service delivery and high client satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to delivery teams to improve SOC processes, tools, and playbooks.
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and emerging security gaps.
Qualifications:
- Nice to have-professional designations such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- 5 years of experience in SOC management, or security advisory capacity.
- Experience engaging directly with C-level stakeholders in a consultative or advisory capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
- Exceptional leadership skills and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
