Key Responsibilities
- Technical Design: Develop comprehensive mechanical design drawings and documentation utilizing CAD and BIM (Revit) software.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal project managers and multidisciplinary teams to define project scopes and deliverables.
- Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs strictly adhere to applicable building codes, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Project Lifecycle Support: Participate in design reviews and coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Electrical, Plumbing, Structural) to ensure system integration.
- Construction Administration: Support field activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and participating in on-site visits as required.
- Culture Contribution: Actively contribute to a high-character workplace through professional service and dependable execution.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.
- Software Proficiency: Skills in AutoCAD and Revit are required.
- Education: Engineering Degree Preferred
- Certification: EI (Engineer Intern) or PE (Professional Engineer) license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of mechanical building codes and industry-standard design MEP practices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Geography: Must reside in or near the Central Florida area to accommodate the 2-day weekly in-office requirement.
