The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
- Lead, coordinate and track multiple project teams to ensure successful delivery of said projects across the department. These project management responsibilities will include:
- Work with a team of technical engineers and system administrators to define the detailed tasks for delivery of the project, timelines, dependencies and resources
- Track the status of all projects and timelines, identifying risks and challenges that might impact delivery of the project
- Coordinate resourcing of multiple projects that have dependencies; e.g. delivery of upgraded software applications that have infrastructure dependencies
- Surface risks of delivery of project to appropriate leadership
- Track budget of multiple projects, ensuring spending is within approved budgets
- Engage with technical and functional personnel as well as stakeholders, communicating effectively
- Negotiate acceptable solutions between technical personnel and/or stakeholders when conflicts of schedules and deliverables are encountered
- Review quality of project deliverables to ensure that they are up to standard
- Provide status reports, problem summaries and project status in formats that are appropriate for the technical team members as well as executives
- Lead out on regularly scheduled project meetings, ensuring engagement from all parties necessary for successful delivery of projects
- Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years of Project Management Experience
- 5 years of technical work in either system administration or software engineering. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
