Pay: $17.00 per hour min

Full-Time - Short-term (9 months)

Location – Hybrid

The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:

  • Serve as subject matter expert regarding various changes of status (leaves of absence, terminations, marriages, spouse on/spouse off status, etc.)
  • Enter employee personnel information related to various changes of status (leaves of absence, terminations, marriages, spouse on/spouse off status, etc.) from a variety of internal and external forms into the database according to standard procedures.
  • Facilitate the Minister’s Housing Allowance (MHA) certification process for missionary staff members. Verify required courses have been completed, research and process MHA worksheets, prepare required MHA information to be presented to Cru leadership, and communicate all steps of the process to staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering telephone and email correspondence inquiries from field staff and other appropriate sources concerning personnel information such as staff status, staff assignment, employment verification, and other relevant information.
  • Analyze source documents to confirm compliance with Cru policy and procedures and to determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Research personnel information to answer unusual questions or to gather information concerning exception cases. Clean up computer data.
  • Train Human Resource staff as needed on how to use the Staff Change Request tool. Respond to any questions, problems, and feedback related to the tool. Schedule and provide multiple hiring training sessions throughout the year. Prepare and review training materials prior to all training sessions.
  • Research and maintain current knowledge of human resource and payroll policies in order to assist staff with the latest policies, updates, and other relevant information. Work closely with field Human Resource Directors and HR staff on policy interpretation and answer general Human Resource questions.

Experience and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 1 year of related experience, or sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities required
