Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a entry level or experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to maintain a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and staff. Experience in manufacturing facilities, industrial electrician work, and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is highly desirable. Fluency in English and excellent customer service skills are essential for effective communication with team members and vendors.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, electrical wiring (including high voltage and low voltage), hydraulics, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair various facility systems using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools..
• Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and other hazardous environments.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
• Support the overall maintenance team in ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding ( welding preferred), and mechanical repairs.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and precision measuring instruments.
• Technical expertise in industrial electrician work, mechanical maintenance, or related fields; military background is a plus.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills in English (not requiered).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
