What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive performance and accountability
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, group, and event segments
- Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, accounts, and partners
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies
- Oversee group sales, catering sales coordination, and contract negotiations
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with InterContinental Hotels Group brand standards and sales processes
Requirements: Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including nights, holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of hotel sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
- Full-service hotel experience required; brand experience preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales segments (corporate, group, SMERF, etc.)
- Experience with sales systems (Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Primarily weekday schedule with flexibility as needed
- Occasional travel for client meetings, trade shows, and sales calls
