Crowne Plaza Memphis Downtown is seeking dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned public areas in accordance with IHG and Crowne Plaza brand standards while providing exceptional service to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly following IHG and Crowne Plaza brand standards.
- Make beds, replace linens, and change towels.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Dust and wipe all furniture, fixtures, electronics, and room surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface flooring.
- Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, coffee supplies, towels, and linens.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet hotel standards before releasing them as clean.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and safety hazards promptly using hotel procedures.
- Properly secure guest rooms and respect guest privacy at all times.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, linen closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed.
- Help clean public areas when needed.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and OSHA guidelines.
- Follow all IHG brand standards, hotel policies, and departmental procedures.
- Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within established productivity standards while maintaining quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
