- Experience with the elderly population is preferred but not a requirement.
- Experience in Infection Control preferred
- A drug screen and background check will be required.
- Great attendance is required.
- Must be very organized due to the extensive amount of paperwork.
- Must be a self-starter and very motivated.
- Must have several years of Nursing experience.
- This nurse will keep track of all infections and antibiotic use, including antibiotic stewardship.
- To act as a liaison and representative of the residents and staff with the infections and medical needs.
- This position will require someone who will be flexible with shifts and/or hours.
- Must have the resident’s best interest in mind at all times and abide by the federal and state regulations.
- Be a part of the Quality Assurance team.
