Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, the Assistant Production Manager is responsible for overseeing front-line employees in an assigned department to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.

Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, the Assistant Production Manager is responsible for overseeing front-line employees in an assigned department to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.
What a typical day looks like:
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- May handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
- Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency of the department.
- Open associates degree (Management, Engineering, Business).
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity (50 – 100 employees)
- Experience in industrial electrical industry (critical infrastructure).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
