Assistant Director of Residence Life Job DetailsThis is a 3 month contract. 1st shift Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in the Chicago areaPay rate will be based on experience and range between $20-$25/hrMonday - Friday | 7am-3:30 pm | $ 20/hrMust be ok with OT as neededRequirements for Assistant Director of Residence LifeTransition foundational departmental materials from The Tank to SharePoint.Audit and organize existing folders for consistency, accessibility, and clean structure.Ensure naming conventions and file structures align with departmental standards.Provide pre- and post-recruitment support for RAs, RHs, CDs, RDs, and possibly ADRLs.Review, update, and format departmental documents, policies, and operating guides.Assist with scheduling, logistics, and set-up for Residence Life initiatives, Dean’s events, and student engagement programs.Experience in higher education and/or legal settings preferred.Duties:The Assistant Director of Residence Life (ADRLO) supports the operational, administrative, and assessment needs of the Residence Life program. This role focuses on organizational alignment, document and policy management, recruitment support, and operational efficiency across Residence Life systems and processes. The ADRLO collaborates closely with professional Residence Life staff, live-on staff and faculty, and campus partners to ensure smooth coordination of key annual cycles and ongoing initiatives.
