What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
- Increase Market Share: Build strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective customers. Grow sales within the territory through consistent customer contact, equipment demonstrations, and strategic marketing efforts.
- Customer Communication: Provide regular updates on product offerings, new technology, and equipment enhancements. Serve as a trusted advisor to help customers find the best solutions for their operation.
- Demonstrations and Events: Conduct equipment demonstrations and represent Crown Power & Equipment at customer events, field days, and trade shows. Assist with setup and teardown of events as needed.
- Customer Training: Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of application equipment to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction.
- Used Equipment Evaluation: Accurately assess trade-in equipment and work with management of establish fair market values for transactions.
- Territory Management: Maintain an organized database of customers utilizing PowerEQ. Provide timely call reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and company policies in daily work.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties assigned to support dealership and team success.
What We’re Looking For: Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent experience in Application Equipment sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and online communication platforms.
- Valid Class E driver’s license or higher.
- Willingness to travel daily to support current customer relationships, develop new business, and deliver the high-quality, face-to-face service we value.
- Highly self-motivated with strong time-management and organization abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience selling or operating agricultural application equipment.
- Familiarity with product lines and systems supported by Crown Power & Equipment.
- Knowledge of HBS, PowerEQ, or similar dealership management software.
- Forklift certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods during inspections or hands on assistance.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to sit and work at a desk or computer for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices when required.
- Comfortable working in varying environment conditions (heat, cold, noise, dust) when in the shop
- Visual and auditory ability to safely and effectively oversee operations and communicate with team members.
