What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing (DON) - RN position at Crown Pointe Care Center?
Crown Pointe Care Center, a long term care facility in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced, energetic, strong and dedicated RN Director of Nursing to lead the exceptional nursing services that are delivered to our residents daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Overall direction, coordination & evaluation of nursing care services provided to the residents.
- Implementing nursing services, objections and standards; resolving resident care issues.
- Ensuring compliance with all State & Federal guidelines.
- Ensuring all confidentiality and privacy rights of residents are observed & enforced.
- Overseeing State Survey complaints, investigations and resolutions.
The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years as an RN of acute care, long term care or geriatric supervisor and management experience in a Medicaid/Medicare certified facility
- Must have excellent computer and communication skills.
- Must be able to follow all established Federal, State and Local rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Proven ability to lead a clinical team to successful clinical outcomes
