Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in resident rooms and common areas, as well as assisting with the laundry services as needed. This position is essential in providing our residents with a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, deep cleaning kitchen/bath areas and sanitizing surfaces. Cleaning Carpets. defrosting /cleaning mini frig/freezer, changing bed linens and gather and transport laundry
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Follow established protocols for handling chemicals and cleaning agents safely.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques including washing, drying, and ironing fabrics.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
