Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Combustion/Boiler Service Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on industrial boilers, including high-pressure steam boilers and other combustion systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct boiler operation checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Repair and maintain mechanical systems such as hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and building automation systems.
- Utilize welding skills for boiler repairs and component replacements as needed.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose system faults accurately.
- Perform field service tasks at client sites, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Maintain detailed service reports, documentation of repairs, and compliance records.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing boiler systems.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on boiler operation and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience with industrial boilers, including high-pressure steam boilers and other industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in boiler mechanics, mechanical systems repair, and industrial mechanic experience.
- Proficiency in interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, building automation systems, welding, and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform boiler repair tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical boiler troubleshooting.
- Field service experience working directly at client sites is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in boiler operation or industrial mechanics is advantageous.
