About the Role:
Crown Peak Advisors is seeking motivated candidates with investment banking experience for an Investment Banking Analyst position based at our headquarters in Miami, Florida, with the option to work fully remote.
As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will be a core member of the deal team, supporting the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, strategic advisory engagements and valuation assignments across the technology and business services landscape.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with the firm’s founder and other senior bankers
- Develop client relationships and work with company founders, owners and executive teams
- Develop deep sector expertise in one of the most active industry verticals
- Take ownership early and grow rapidly alongside a senior team
- Participate meaningfully in live transactions with real responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and analyze detailed financial models, valuations and scenario analyses
- Prepare pitch decks, offering materials (CIMs), management presentations and other client materials
- Conduct company-specific and industry research to identify trends, buyers and opportunities
- Support financial and commercial due diligence, including analysis of financial statements and market dynamics
- Participate in client meetings and calls, contributing meaningful analysis and insights
- Coordinate with legal, accounting and other advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution
- Assist in drafting transaction documentation and deal materials
- Track market developments and apply relevant insights to marketing materials and live client engagements
- Be an active contributor to a small, collaborative, high-performance team
Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years of investment banking experience
- Exceptionally driven, competitive and self-motivated
- Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with high standards for quality and accuracy
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to take ownership and grow
- Team-oriented, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
Travel may be required on an as-needed basis, depending on client engagements.
This role will initially be non-salaried, with compensation provided through transaction-based bonuses upon deal closings.
